Welcome to the Animal Welfare Center and Dog Shelter of Poggiardo!
Currently, 27 dogs are being taken care of in the refugio, because they are either recovering or cannot live in the streets anymore due to medical reasons and need constant care/treatment

The ducks
Our pack of dogs is happy in their big and green areas.

During the day they enjoy free access to the whole grounds...
...so they can run and get rid of their energy.
The dogs are trained to the leash and will go for walks.
In charge of the physical well-being, the necessary medical care and tender stroking is provided by our collegues Simone (Leader Vets in Action Italy) and Loredana.
