Samuil
Samuil comes from a small family farm in the village of Debren.
He is a strong, middle-aged donkey that enjoyed life out in the field. Unfortunately, he had to be retired early because of a series of leg injuries that left him unable to climb an uneven terrain. We were glad to take him in.
Samuil can be mistaken for another one of our donkeys, Dobri – they are like identical twins! Both are tall, lean, and dark colored sporting a lovely white patch on their forehead. In temperament, however, they can’t be more different. Samuil is friendly and affectionate, literally following around anyone who would pet him.
