Philip
Philip was the last donkey left in the village of Gaytaninovo before his owners closed their family farm.
Like many donkeys in the region, Philip was part of our outreach program; he was the only donkey who needed anesthetic before hoof trimming. We were still happy to have the sensitive donkey in the Valley.
Fortunately, since he joined us at the Valley, Philip has been quite peaceful. He didn’t experience any anxiety in the transition. He is slowly becoming more trusting too and no longer needs anesthetic for his trims. We take it as a sure sign he comfortable and happy in his new home.
