Lasko comes from the village of Lazhnitza, near Banichan where our Donkey Valley is situated. The family that used to look after him all moved to live abroad and for a while, he was visited by one of their relatives. It was a lonely existence with hardly any variety – Lasko spent all of his days tied up in a nearby meadow. Just on the verge of the donkey being sold, we managed to interfere and rescue him.
